Oh, friends! I am seriously thrilled to share my first wedding of the season with you! Jackie and Rich had such a beautiful day and Derek and I loved being a part of it!
I met Jackie and Rich through a previous groom of mine, JJ. These two reached out to me as soon as they were engaged and right after I moved to Central New York! I could tell Jackie was so sweet and had such a beautiful and elegant vision for her wedding.
And I loved meeting Jackie and Rich last summer! We went to a beautiful beach, and I could tell just how sweet and fun they are together. Rich even brought and American flag because he loves the Americana theme – and they ran on the beach holding it! Since last summer, I knew their wedding would be absolutely beautiful and fun.
They chose Le Chateau in South Salem as their wedding venue, which I knew would be gorgeous! JP Morgan built this Tudor-style mansion for his minister. And it is stunning inside and out! As soon as Derek and I arrived at Le Chateau, Jackie was already looking gorgeous and all of her details were so elegant! I was in photographer heaven! She had a beautiful party of bridesmaids as well as 4 adorable flower girls who were having fun jumping on the couches! I immediately knew it was going to be such a sweet day
After Jackie was dressed, we headed to their church in Ridgefield, where she met her groom Rich at the altar! He was so stunned to see her! They had a beautiful ceremony ending with a fun bubble exit with their friends and family! Even a group of Jackie’s students were there to support the new Mr. & Mrs.!
It was a HOT day, in the 90s, but we found some sweet spaces to photograph outside at Le Chateau. Jackie and Rich were so sweet to capture together in the gardens, and they even walked down this beautiful stone staircase! They also took photographs with their bridal party in front of a cool Trolley they had for the afternoon! It was such a fun group and everyone was such a trooper outside!
We went inside for an incredible cocktail hour, followed by an elegant reception in the ballroom they recently built onto Le Chateau! I had no idea this room existed and I was floored by how beautiful it was – the crystal chandeliers were so impressive! Jackie and Rich entered and were ready to party with everyone!!
As the night went on, Derek noticed how beautiful the sunset was – and we took a chance to take Jackie and Rich outside to capture the beautiful glow! We went upstairs to a private balcony and WOW, we were so happy we took those moments for them – those photographs were stunning!
We ended the evening with them with a night portrait right before they cut their beautiful cake. We had such a great day celebrating Jackie and Rich’s love, and wish them all the happiness in the world together! I hope you enjoy their story!
