Happy Friday, friends!!
SO much going on here as I’m sure you’ve seen this past month as I launched my very first workshop! I haven’t blogged about it yet so THAT is coming soon. But first, with all the crazy weather changes between spring and winter weather, I knew I had to share this sweet winter session with you!!
Elena & Mike came to me after they were engaged, because I photographed Elena’s sister Dani’s wedding several years back (you may remember their wedding at Roundhouse Beacon!) Elena and Mike are super relaxed, fun people and want the same spirit on their wedding day! Which of course I love!!
They were engaged on the cliffs in Ireland – how romantic is that?! So I knew these two loved to travel and loved beautiful scenery. And when it came time to decide where to photograph their engagement, they wanted to capture the beauty of the Hudson River. We settled on a place I have LOVED for years- Croton Point Park. I found out that when Elena was a kid, her parents would boat them along the Hudson River and stop at Croton Point. So it was definitely fitting at this time in her life to photograph there!
And the scenery was just stunning. I loved getting to know Elena and Mike – they’ve been together for about 7 years and at this point just know so much about each other! They were also up for any adventure including a hike along a cliff, walking out on frozen ice to stand on rocks…and it made for some stunning winter shots!
I am so thrilled to share this one with you! And I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding this summer! Hope you love their story!
Such an amazing start already!!
So cute, that one on the right!
Yes, they totally climbed out onto the ice to get here – but so worth it!
How gorgeous is this winter light?!
This ring shot was so much fun to set up! I was balling up the snow and a passerby thought I was making a snowman!
One of my favorites there on the left!! Adorable!
AHH – now for the magic light!
Seriously, can this get more romantic?!
LOVE LOVE this! These two, that view and the sun’s reflection – just breathtaking!
