Happy Friday, friends!! It’s been an amazing week reflecting on just how wonderful 2017 was. SO many adventures for my life and business all wrapped up into one year!
I went through all the images I took (I really should COUNT the number of images one day, haha!) to look for my best wedding and engagement photographs from 2017! It was so hard and I’m sure this isn’t perfect – just images that really stand out to me from each of my shoots, whether it was an emotion, or a landscape, or a way my clients were interacting with each other.
I am really so grateful to have met so many amazing people, traveled to such cool places, have my husband start working with me, and to start working up here in Central New York. It was really an epic year and one I’ll want to remember always!
HERE THEY ARE! THE BEST!
This was from my first session in 2017 – Cassie and JJ you really led the way!
AHH! Central Park perfection.
Loved these intimate moments…
THE RAIN didn’t stop these two! And I love them for it!
The sun was these two’s best friend – one of my favorite images here on their boat in the Thousand Islands! So Vogue, right??
Loved exploring Ventosa Vineyards with these two!
And a CAVE with them…WHAT?!
This sunset light was just magical…
Love the laughter and intimacy of this next set of images…
This A frame- LOVE!
LOVED the way this one was framed!
Fall flannel and intimate moments, can it be better?!
AHH this LIGHT!
This was so cool…my first wedding shot at a ski resort on the top of a mountain. Incredible experience!
Sunflower fields have always been a dream of mine…
Park Avenue never gets old!
This GLOW was ridiculously amazing and we JUST caught it in time here at Cornell!
Loved this stone house at the Garrison!
Light is really everything…
The only proposal I photographed this year at Beak and Skiff, and I loved every minute!
So gorgeous of these two! Something about this field, super romantic
Have to put a few of my favorite night shots in here!
Their love and this light…I was all about it.
Okay, DREAM status! I photographed a bride with a HORSE!
And this sweet bride wore my wedding dress! I had such a hard time keeping it in for months!
I don’t know why, one of my favorite ring shots right there!
This wall in NYC was just perfect.
I’ve always wanted to travel to Watkins Glen! With the help of my lighting assistant…love this!
This row of trees and light!!
The pure JOY!
One of my favorite ceremony setups right here with this ivy and lanterns!
Okay, STOP IT – it was 5 degrees and THIS happened! The light!!
The first and only time I photographed a wedding ceremony with pews outside – so fun to use for bridal party photos!
Glowy light is everything!
They had a balloon release right after the ceremony! YES please!
Loved working at Crested Hen farms! And that portrait on the right…stunner.
So much summer, so much adventure.
One of my faves!! So so romantic with this snow and street light in Syracuse!
Such a fun sparkler photo – loved how this one came out!
It was the best way to end the season with these romantic snow sessions!
I am really looking forward to 2018. Like I reflected on last week, it’ll be an intentional year, a year to dream new dreams. Next year my post may not look exactly like this, but it’ll be amazing, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!
Lastly, I just wanted to say THANK YOU. Thank you for being on this journey with me, my sweet couples, supporting my work, and as always, chasing the light…
