Happy #WeddingWednesday, friends! I know this post is coming a little late today but I’m so thrilled to break up the week and focus on beauty and love Jennifer and Brian had such a beautiful fall day, and even amidst the wind and cold you can tell the sweet love and friendship they have together!!
When I arrived at Jennifer’s suite, I took one look at her dress and knew that it was so her! And her invitations and details were so lovely. The ladies had the sweetest matching robes, and her sweet little nieces were running around and adorable! When it was time for Jennifer to get dressed, her mom and MOH helped her and she looked so stunning! We went outside in the courtyard to take photographs with the girls before leaving for Cold Spring – and they looked gorgeous in those merlot colored gowns!
Brian was waiting to see his bride at Chalet on the Hudson, outside by the waterfalls. It had gotten pretty windy, but Jennifer braved the wind and cold to go meet her man! He couldn’t believe how gorgeous she looked!! Then we went inside to take portraits of them, there was gorgeous window light and I was loving all of Jennifer’s details (including their DIY gold pumpkins from the seating charts!) We went with the entire bridal party to the Cold Spring waterfront, but it was SO cold that we turned right back around to the Chalet – they were seriously SUCH troopers for that!! We captured some beautiful indoor moments though, against a stone wall and near their windows which faced the Hudson River.
When it was time for the ceremony (outdoors!), hand warmers were being passed to all the guests, and even during the ceremony Brian was keeping Jennifer’s hands warm. So sweet! And then these two were married – and they had such joy on their faces! Jennifer and Brian then changed for a Korean Tea Ceremony, which was not only BEAUTIFUL but really fun – they did games in front of all their guests. It was the first Korean Tea Ceremony I photographed and loved every minute! Then, after they changed back we caught a sunset outside before their reception started. And then it was time to dance the night away! After a sweet first dance, they danced with their parents and listened to their toasts. For the rest of the night, their families danced (even the baby flower girls), guests mingled outside by the bar and talked, and had a great relaxing evening.
I was so happy to be a part of Jennifer and Brian’s day – I hope you LOVE their story!

MARRIED! Love that reaction of Brian’s!
Let the Tea Ceremony begin! After bowing out of respect to their elders, Jennifer and Brian listened to his parents and his grandfather address them.
They took sweet photos for the camera…
And then they played these games, capturing a chestnut, and betting on who had to carry who out on their backs!
Such a gorgeous sunset with Storm King mountain behind them!
LOVED these gold pumpkin place cards!
What a gorgeous cake!
Haha, what an entrance! Brian is a police officer, so they had a little fun with that!
I think Brian totally practiced this garter removal dance!
They had sparklers, so of course we had to go outside and play with light before the night was over!!
