Friends, happy Wednesday! I’m back from a beautiful weekend in the Rocky Mountains – let me tell you, this heart of mine is feeling so inspired Can’t wait to share more beauty with you from nature. But first – I am so thrilled to share the best of 2015 engagements with you!
One of the things I love the most about my couples is how adventurous they are! They’re really up for anything. Whether it’s going out in the rain and bringing Hunter Boots, or taking off their shoes so we can climb on some rocks, or going on a sailboat for the first time, hopping in a cold watered creek in the fall, or running up hills just to chase the sunset, they’re totally trusting and excited for the adventure of capturing their love. Which makes me THRILLED to be a part of the story!
The thing I love the most about engagements is just how much creativity we have, since the day is planned just for the two of them, and it’s all about my sweet couple. It’s all about getting into their story, knowing what they love, and getting to know places that are important to them. Anyone who knows me personally knows I tend to say, “Variety is the spice of life” and truly believe it! With engagements, I see SO much variety and I’m free to tell all these stories so creatively – which makes me excited to hop in the car and meet such amazing people!
I hope this Best of Engagements gives you a little taste of why I love my job so much! These couples have all been so wonderful – both my 2015 and 2016 couples are pictured here!
This makes me excited to start with 2016 engagements in the next few months – who knows what new adventures await us…
Until then – enjoy, friends!!
I love these so much – the joy!
This light, their joy and the woodland backdrop is perfection
Ahh love this – so sweet!
This was such a fun idea – Jade and Steve wanted to climb outside their window to capture a glimpse of their life together!

Such a fun spot! Scott spotted this wall and we had to stop by during their engagement – and I added a pop of light!

This was so much fun and so unique! Katie and Justin had brought those hats, and when we spotted the graffiti wall, we had to mimic it!
