Oh, friends, I’m so excited to post this sweet wedding today!
Stefanie and Brian are really such sweethearts. I could tell as soon as I met them how much love they share for each other and what a great team they are together. You may remember their harbour engagement session from this summer with their sweet puppy Baxter?! I had such a good time with them and just loved all the joy and laughter that’s a part of their relationship. They met at Umass and are now inseparable.
On the day of their wedding, they had the most beautiful weather ever! Their wedding day was set at the beautiful West Hills Country Club in Middletown – which has such a gorgeous, detailed yet relaxed atmosphere, so perfect for them!
I arrived at Stefanie’s hotel to find all the girls smiling from ear to ear and just excited for the day ahead. After Stefanie finished with her makeup and hair, we headed over to West Hills! I had so much fun in the bridal suite photographing Stefanie’s beautiful details (and may have been gushing over her Jimmy Choo shoes – which Stef said are comfortable!) The buttons on the back of Stefanie’s wedding dress were gorgeous, too, and so her! Stef’s mom helped her get dressed, and of course exchanged some sweet and teary moments. Then Stefanie did a reveal to her dad and brother, and then her bridesmaids. Everyone was so in awe of how gorgeous she looked!!
Then, she was ready to meet her groom! I could tell as she approached him it was going to be an emotional moment – and it was. Brian teared up seeing her, and she teared up too. Such priceless moments!
We took some portraits of the two of them together in the beautiful light, and then gathered the bridal party to hop in the golf carts and go onto West Hills’ beautiful property. We took photographs on the red bridge and on the other side in the most gorgeous light! Then, Stef and Brian drove up to Hole 6 and we took stunning portraits overlooking the whole golf course. We captured such great moments between them!
Then, before their wedding ceremony, Stef and Brian signed their ketubah in the bridal suite before their family and friends as witnesses. When the ceremony started, Brian teared up again seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. They had a beautiful Jewish ceremony ending with the breaking of the glass – and they were married!
Before the reception started, we took Stefanie and Brian out for a few more portraits – because the sun was setting so so beautifully. Those images are some of my favorites from the day!!
Then, their reception started and so did a big party! After their first dance, they did the hava nagila dance and of course were lifted up on chairs! They had such a great time dancing with their guests and even their cute flower girls and ring bearers. Their friends gave beautiful speeches, including Stefanie’s father who said that her and Brian’s love is “everything that’s right in the world.”
It was such a beautiful evening, and I wish these two all the happiness in the world. I hope you enjoy their story!
Love those buttons – so pretty!

Stefanie couldn’t believe when she opened Brian’s card that he chose one that had a wedding dress with buttons all down the back. Just like hers!!!!

It’s been a tradition for Brian and his friends since school to play monopoly together – so of course they had to on the wedding morning!

Kerri,
These photos are unbelievable! We have been staring at them all day. The best thing to come home to after our honeymoon. You’re the best!!!
Love,
Stef and Brian.
Kerri,
When Stefanie and Brian chose you to be their photographer for their wedding, I was told “mom, she’s the best, you don’t even have to come back with us ….we’re sure. Then for months I heard about you and finally, I met you at their engagement shoot to pick up my grand dog, Baxter who was causing some commotion. I , too could instantly feel how wonderful a photographer and person you are. Your work is that of a true artist. It is clear that not only are you the BEST, but you truly love what you do. It was you and I steaming Stef’s gown the day of the wedding. The moments you spent with just Stef and I as I helped her get ready were some of the best moments of my life. Your pictures speak for themselves and I would highly recommend you to all! You made Stef and Brian’s wedding day that much more special. You are truly an outstanding professional and human being. I know I will be seeing your work all over the place, for you are making a name for yourself. Kerri, thank you for the role you shared on this most special day in our family’s life. I admire your work, dedication and your love of telling “the story”. Take care, Mindy Mayer
