Phew!! It’s been quite the start to wedding season, friends! I know this post was supposed to come yesterday, so THANK you for baring with me! I think it will be worth it!
Many of you saw the first part of the stunning wedding portraits I took for my cousin Tommy and his new wife Holly in Florida, on the blog this past Friday. Well, they’re not done yet! I just LOVE these two and their adventurous spirits. After we took photographs at the stunning Sarasota Ritz Carlton, we had to go to the Sarasota Bayfront across the street. This was so fun for me because I have photographed so many portraits there over the years – and now to be with my cousin and his wife on their wedding day – pure joy!
We thought about hopping over to the Bayfront in a car, but nope! We walked in almost 90 degree weather across the street, crossing traffic and everything! Imagine driving and seeing this stunning bride and groom crossing US-41 with their prop suitcase! You would never know these two were residents of Sarasota – it looked like such destination wanderlust!
We had such a great time at the park. We photographed near the beautiful bougainvillea entrance to the Bayfront, and then of course walked to my favorite Banyan trees. These trees are so iconic in Florida – the tree limbs re-root into the ground – pretty phenomenal! And finally, we photographed near a beautiful white tree overlooking the water.
You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day, or a more beautiful couple so in love!! It was such joy to be able to spend cousin time with them and to give them these photos as a gift!
I hope you love the ending to their story!
